Artman is best known for providing compassionate, high-quality care to older adults in need of short-term rehabilitation, personal care, and healthcare within a senior living community. What you may not know, however, is the extent to which our team goes to uphold the dignity of every resident in our care.

Taking Care of Family

At Artman, meaningful friendships form among residents, families, and caregivers. We spend time together, support one another, and share life’s moments—both joyful and challenging.

One impactful way our community supports residents is through our Benevolent Care Fund. This vital resource serves as a safety net for residents whose financial circumstances change, ensuring they can continue receiving the care and support they need.

More importantly, the fund provides peace of mind. Residents and their families find comfort in knowing they will always have a home at Artman—even if their financial situation changes due to economic hardship or rising healthcare costs.

A Team Passionate About Giving Back

The Artman team believes deeply in the mission of the Benevolent Care Fund and goes above and beyond to support it. Recently, we hosted a week-long fundraising extravaganza, raising an impressive total of $14,103.

The week kicked off on Monday, March 23, when staff, residents, family members, and community participants were invited to bring in unwanted or broken gold, silver, and platinum. These items were sold to a local vendor, who generously donated a percentage of the proceeds back to the Benevolent Care Fund, for a total of $3,810.

On Wednesday, Artman hosted its semiannual community yard sale. The Atrium was transformed into a lively marketplace filled with jewelry, clothing, kitchenware, household items, toys, electronics, and more. The event welcomed bargain hunters from the community and generated $2,033.

The week culminated in the main event: Big Prize Bingo on Friday. More than 130 attendees gathered for games, raffle prizes, and an evening filled with fun, laughter, and camaraderie.

Top prizes included a Blackstone grill, Ninja Creami, and Beats headphones, among many others generously donated by sponsors. The event also served as a joyful reunion, welcoming past team members and leaders back to Artman. Big Prize Bingo was a resounding success, raising $8,260.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our dedicated team members, generous sponsors, donors, and volunteers. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to our mission and their passion for this important cause.

Their efforts not only ensured a successful week of events but also brought our entire community together—family taking care of family—to uphold the dignity of those who need extra support.
