Respite Care
Offering The Best In Short-Term Stays, Benefiting Both Residents & Caregivers
“I can honestly say that I enjoyed it. I loved everyone there; they were all so considerate and down to earth.”—Patricia Delconte, Former Respite Care Resident
Artman understands the many transitions and challenges of aging. Our Personal Care Respite Program provides planned, short-term, and time-limited breaks for caregivers, as well as a nurturing environment for older adults who require assistance and support. Our team is trained to the highest levels in all aspects of senior care. Respite stays offer both residents and caregivers a chance to take a worry-free break from daily care and responsibility.
Everyone has specific needs, which is why the length of a respite stay at Artman may differ for each individual. Nevertheless, we request a minimum stay of 5 nights and a maximum stay of 30 days. Medical insurance, including Medicare and Blue Cross, generally does not cover the costs associated with respite care; however, long-term care policies may subsidize your costs.
All of our accommodations are furnished, including bedding. We encourage you to bring your favorite photographs or other familiar items from your home to make your stay even more soothing. Respite stays are a great way to experience Artman on a trial basis. Although you will only be remaining with us for a short time, you will receive the same services as our residents.
In the event you should require emergency care during your stay, our professional nursing staff will immediately consult with your doctor, who will have completed an extensive medical history prior to your stay with us.
